Objective

The student will deepen knowledge of professional principles, techniques, and possibilities in using social media as a production, management and marketing tool by working with a real life social media project independently or in groups using ready made social media platforms or by creating new concepts in collaboration with enterprises.

Content

The project workshop is a practical research and working process of the use of social media tools in music and media distribution, networking, producing and marketing.

Completion alternatives

Groups assignments and personal presentations. Credits 1-10 from the project work hours. 27 h = 1 cr.

Student workload

o lectures 20h o seminars, workshops and independent studies. Total max. 270 h.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

o excellent (5) students show an excellent understanding of the key issues and their work is very well-produced
o good (3-4) students understand the main processes and concepts and their work is of a reasonable standard
o satisfactory (1-2) students gain and demonstrate enough knowledge to pass the course
