Objective

On successful completion of this course, student is able to explain terminology related to musculoskeletal loading and clinical biomechanicsunderstand principles and outcomes of biomechanical gait analysisunderstand the principles of neuromuscular movement patternsknow about innovative assessment modalities of human movement and functionuse laboratory assessment tools and apply biomechanical research methods to clinical casesunderstand reliability and validity in clinical researchwork as a part of a multidisciplinary team with the acquired skills of neuromechanical assessments of human movement

Biomechanical principles and concepts applied to clinical context Neuromuscular loading in acute and chronic conditions Functional measurements in clinical and laboratory settings Assessment of reliability and validity in clinical research Clinical cases Multidisciplinary group work – experimental research on selected case or topic 

Qualifications

Preliminary knowledge of basic anatomy and biomechanics is needed
