Objective

Tämän opintojakson suorittanut tai vastaavan osaamisen hankkinut opiskelija: • ymmärtää, miten sopimus syntyy • tuntee IT2022-sopimusehtojen keskeisen sisällön ja osaa tehdä sopimuksia IT2022-sopimusehtoja hyödyntäen • tuntee immateriaalilainsäädännön keskeisen sisällön ja ymmärtää immateriaalioikeuksien merkityksen ICT-liiketoiminnassa • tietää, miten aineettomia oikeuksia lisensoidaan • tuntee GDPR:n sekä saavutettavuusdirektiivin keskeisen sisällön.

Methods of completion

Virtuaalitoteutus. Kurssi suoritetaan oppimistehtäviä tekemällä. Yksilötehtävät, ei tenttiä. Mikäli jo osaat tämän opintojakson osaamistavoitteet, voit näyttää osaamisesi. ICT-alalla ammattilaiset pohjaavat tekemänsä sopimuksiin. Tämän opintojakson sopimusehtokokoelma antaa kattavan kuvauksen yleisesti käytössä olevista sopimustyypeistä. Tämän lisäksi opit ymmärtämään immateriaalilainsäädäntöä (tekijänoikeus, patentit) sekä EU:n saavutettavuuteen ja GDPR:ään liittyviä säädöksiä.

Teaching methods

Course language: Finnish. The course is as a virtual online implementation and is completed by doing learning assignments. Each student works on the assignments at their own time schedule. In the virtual instructed course, there will be instructed time schedule, but students can produce learning assignment in the individual timeschedule.

Employer connections

IT contract terms are commonly used in the industry. In business, IT contract terms are licensed and subject to a fee, but for educational purposes, they are free for students. A basic understanding of IT contracts is essential for everyone working in the IT field. In addition to sales and customer relationship management, service managers, project managers, and specialists also need contract knowledge in their daily work when services are procured from partners or delivered to client organizations.

Exam schedules

The course is completed by doing learning assignments; there is no exam.

International connections

The course covers universal intellectual property rights, such as patents, utility models, trademarks, and design rights. In general, the term IPR is used for intellectual property rights, which comes from the English words Intellectual Property Rights.

Completion alternatives

The course can be completed through RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) by demonstrating competence to the course instructor. If a student has previous work experience or other acquired knowledge of intellectual property rights, they may complete the task through RPL. Students who wish to complete the course via RPL must contact the instructor by email no later than during the first week of the course.
