Evaluation methods and criteria

The criteria for competence assessment will be discussed during the first lecture session. The following may be subject to change. 1. Continuous demonstration of competence, 20 points. Students have the opportunity to demonstrate their competence during the course. Assessment is continuous and integrated. Continuous means that assessment takes place throughout the duration of the course. Integrated in this context means that each assessment contributes to the overall grade, and any assessed component may cover multiple learning objectives of the course. 2. Case assignment as group work. Maximum of 50 points. 3. Learning portfolio, in which the student compiles development models and frameworks appropriate for their own work. Maximum of 30 points. Grading scale: 1 = 50–59 points 2 = 60–69 points 3 = 70–79 points 4 = 80–89 points 5 = 90–100 points Below 50 points is a fail The use of artificial intelligence for completing assignments is prohibited and will result in a failing grade.

Content scheduling

The objectives, content, implementation method and assessment of the course will be covered during the first teaching session.

Objective

After completing the course, the student understands the meaning of managed and conscious development work for the organization’s operations. The student recognizes the background assumptions of different development approaches and possible applications. The student knows how to plan and implement development measures in an organisation and evaluate the effectiveness of different development measures in change processes. The student can apply the core contents of the course in their own development project.
