Objective

The purpose of the course is to enhance the student’s technological competence in the basics of artificial intelligence, robotics and computer programming. In addition, the purpose is to enhance competence in methods of assessing user-oriented development and usability and in the practical application of these methods. The student enhances their technological competence, knows the basic concepts of artificial intelligence and robotics and understands the basics of programming. The student recognises the basic principles of usability and is able to apply usability testing methods in practice. The student is able to plan and implement a user-oriented development process and to evaluate the impacts and usability of the developed service.

Location and time

The course will take place from 4.9.- 07.12.25 and all work will be done online; in Moodle.

Materials

All material in Moodle, which will open when the implementation starts.

Teaching methods

The course includes eight modules of study material to be completed in the Moodle environment. Modules: 1. Fundamentals of AI 2. Applications of AI 3. Ethics of AI 4. Fundamentals of robotics 5. General applications of robotics 6. Bionic limb prostheses 7. Ethics in robotics 8. Project work + peer review The course will be delivered entirely online.
