Objective

The student masters the principles of expert communication and is able to communicate appropriately in relation to the subject matter. They are capable of utilizing communication in organizational leadership and societal influence. They can develop their spoken and written communication skills.

Content

The various communication needs and objectives of expert communication. Communication tools for different communication situations and purposes. Societal communication. Organizational communication.

Location and time

The teaching will be on Zoom. Start: 10 February 2026, end: 22 May 2026. Two workshop-type teaching sessions: 5 March 2026 at 14:30–16:00 and 27 April 2026 at 14:30–16:00. Always check the times in the timetable!

Materials

The learning material is presented in Moodle.

Teaching methods

The course unit consists of independent work and small group work in the Moodle learning environment, as well as participation in teaching and guidance sessions via Zoom. The course unit begins on 10 February 2026. Learning assignments and other submissions must be uploaded to Moodle by 22 May 2026. The course unit requires commitment to the schedule and active participation in teaching and guidance.

Student workload

The study module is 5 credits = 135 hours.
