All tasks must be completed satisfactorily. The assessment of tasks 1–2 is: accepted/to be supplemented/rejected, and the examination grade is 1–5. The overall grade is determined numerically according to the performance assessed 1–5.

Objective

The purpose of the course is to strengthen the student's competence in the key principles of career management, which promote the work ability, motivation, and competence of employees of different ages. In addition, the aim is to enhance expertise in issues related to age, career transitions, and workplace personnel practices. After completing the course module, the student will be able to identify issues and challenges related to employees of different ages and career transitions, as well as understand ways to address them.

Location and time

There are no time-bound lectures; the entire course is completed as online learning.

Materials

All materials and literature for the course unit are available in Moodle, which will be accessible at the start of the implementation.

Teaching methods

A study unit implemented entirely online, according to one’s own schedule. Studies can be started and finished at a personally suitable time. There are alternative submission dates for assignments. Please note, however, that submissions are processed and registered during the first week of each month. The implementation includes independent work and a variety of learning support materials (videos, literature, podcasts, online discussion, multiple-choice examination). All assignments are individual tasks. The implementation follows the planned schedule, but it can also be completed entirely at one’s own pace.

Exam schedules

The exam available in Moodle can be completed at your own pace. The exam can be retaken three times, and a minimum of 60% correct answers is required to pass. The exam can only be retaken 24 hours after the previous attempt.
