Evaluation methods and criteria
The course is assessed as pass / fail. A pass requires that the student has successfully completed all learning assignments during the course. The threshold for a passing grade in the assignments is 50% correct answers. More detailed instructions are available on the Moodle platform. By submitting online exam or online implementation assignments, the student affirms that the demonstration of competence is based on independent work and ethical conduct. Academic dishonesty may lead to suspension from the university of applied sciences for up to one year. Universities of Applied Sciences Act 932/2014, Section 38. To ensure independent competence in online implementation, the teacher may, at their discretion, require the demonstration of competence under supervised conditions or through an oral examination. The teacher will inform students of the method of demonstrating competence no later than at the beginning of the studies.

Opiskelija tietää ihmiselle sieni-infektioita aiheuttavia sieniryhmiä sekä ymmärtää sienten merkityksen sieni-infektiotautien aiheuttajina. Opiskelija tietää yleisempien sieni-infektioiden taudinkuvan ja niiden hoidon.

Sienet yleisesti, kliinisesti merkittävien sienten jaottelu, sieniryhmät: hiivat, rihmasienet ja homeet. Yleisempien sieni-infektioiden taudinkuva ja hoito.
