Objective

After completing the course, students will be familiar with the high-voltage electrical system structure of modern electric and hybrid vehicles. The student will be able to distinguish between the different components of the electrical system and understand how they relate to the high voltage system. The student will understand the differences between different types of batteries and be able to distinguish between them. The student will understand how different types of electric motors differ and how they are controlled.
