Objective

This course provides you with basic information about business in this macro-region. Students will learn transferable skills such as searching and summarizing new information, and identifying and understanding key issues related to business in Asia.

Methods of completion

Online course. Students take the course independently in the DigiCampus-learning environment during the course period. The course material consists of recorded lectures and various online materials of which many are provided by the Dezan & Shiraz associates. Different online assignments such as quizzes and summaries support students’ learning process.

Taken As: Various automatically-graded online assignments such as quizzes and exams with multiple-choice questions.

Content

The course covers the three major regions in Asia: East, South and Southeast Asia, with specific focus on China and India. It’s recommended to combine this course with “Introduction to Business in Asia – country study” (2 ECTS, PASI5245).
