80% performance in each final quiz per module with written reflection (three modules), active engagement in one final seminar.

Objective

In line with the European Education Area Council Recommendation on Key Competences for Lifelong Learning, this course contributes to digital and technology-based competencies, interpersonal skills, and the ability to adopt new competencies.

Content

Basics of International Classification of Functioning, Disablity and Health (ICF)
Usage of digital environments in rehabilitation
Opportunities of digital environments in communication with clients and professionals

This course develops understanding the basics of ICF (International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health), collaborating and sharing information in digital environments, as well as ways of supporting the client’s Functioning in Digital Rehabilitation.

Teaching methods

The course will be executed online asynchronously. There is one, two hour interactive webinar you must participate.

Exam schedules

There are quizzes and tests on Moodle. You can execute the tests during the course when it is possible to you.

International connections

This is an international, interprofessional course. The course is implemented in collaboration with Jamk University of Applied Sciences Finland and University of Applied Sciences St. Pölten Austria. The course language is English.

both of these already include the assessment

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

Student demonstrates understanding of the key concepts of the course (ICF and digital rehabilitation) by successfully completing the independent assignments included in the course. 80 % of the quizzes are needed. In addition, the student can reflect person centered care and functioning in digital environments by actively demonstrating own knowledge and skills in the webinar through brainstorming and discussion.
