Opintojakson arvosana muodostuu tentin perusteella. Vapaaehtoisella oppimispäiväkirjalla on mahdollista nostaa arvosanaa (90-100/100 pistettä = +1 arvosana ylöspäin).

The object of the course
Labour law is a legal area that concerns everyone, employees and employers alike. You will need knowledge of labour and civil service law constantly in your work, irrespective of whether you work in the private or public sector.

Teaching methods

Kurssi suoritetaan etäopintoina. Ohjausta on tarjolla Zoomissa, mutta kurssin voi suorittaa myös täysin itsenäisesti. Opintojakso sisältää opetusvideoita ja tehtäviä, sekä tentin.

Exam schedules

Moodletentti, materiaalit sallittu. Tentti on auki vähintään 12 tuntia tenttipäivänä. Tenttin suoritusaika on 90 minuuttia.

Student workload

Opintojakson kuormitus on 135 tuntia, joka opintojakson käynnissäolon aikana vastaa noin 10-20 tunnin viikkotuntimäärää opiskelua.

Kurssin sisällöstä tärkeintä on ymmärtää sääntelyperusta, oikeat säädökset kuhunkin tilanteeseen, sekä työsopimusoikeuden sisältö. Käytä näihin aikaa - arvioiden puolet kurssin työtunneista. (~50-60 tuntia)

Seuraavaksi tärkeintä kurssilla on ymmärtää työehtosopimusten toiminta. Eli työehtosopimusjärjestelmä ja niiden käytännön vaikutus työsuhteisiin / työsopimuksiin. (~ 20 tuntia)

Yhteistoiminta ~ 20 tuntia

Muihin (virkamiesoikeus, virkaehtosopimukset, työsuhteen sosiaaliset ulottuvuudet yms.) voi käyttää loppuajan.

You understand the differences between an employment and public-service relationship and the position of a municipal officeholder. You recognise the legal question at stake in the court case and the applicable points of law. You know the main rules related to the establishment of an employment contract.

Good 3
You are familiar with the legislation governing labour and civil service law and the general principles pertaining to labour and civil service law and are able to apply them in connection with assignments. You understand the differences between an employment and public-service relationship and the position of a municipal officeholder as well as the employee’s and the employer’s rights and obligations. You recognise the legal question at stake in the court case and the applicable points of law. You know the main rules related to the establishment of an employment contract.

You are familiar with the legislation governing labour and civil service law and the general principles pertaining to labour and civil service law and are able to apply them in connection with learning and work assignments. You are familiar with the employee’s and the employer’s statutory rights and obligations. You recognise the legal question at stake in the court case and the applicable points of law and resolve the case in accordance with the instructions provided. You know the main rules related to the establishment of an employment contract and the related terms and conditions.

Excellent 5
You are familiar with the legislation governing labour and civil service law and the general principles pertaining to labour and civil service law and are able to apply them in connection with learning and work assignments. You are familiar with the employee’s and the employer’s statutory rights and obligations and know the related legal practice. You recognise the legal question at stake in the court case and the applicable points of law and are capable of analysing the case in a versatile way, showing problem-centred resolving ability. You know the main rules related to the establishment of an employment and public-sector employment contract and the related terms and conditions and are able to give instructions for the preparation of an employment contract.
