Objective

The object of the course
The purpose of the course is to provide the student skills to develop HR-processes through technology by digitizing all or parts of them. The student is able to acquire and make use of knowledge of rapidly developing technology and applications and knows how to put it into practice in HR-processes.


Competence goal
You identify HR processes and the opportunities for digitizing them. You identify digital platforms, technology applications and systems for HR process development, data management and analysis. You will understand the enhancing impact of HR digitalisation on HR productivity and the importance of monitoring and exploiting technologic trends. You will be able to develop a plan for the digitalisation of HR processes.

Interactive introduction to the themes and learning assignments.

You are familiar with the principles and benefits of digitising HR processes. You outline some perspectives on the opportunities for HR to use digitalisation to improve HR processes. You understand the importance of following technology trends. You will be able to take responsibility for your own actions and take others into account, and evaluate your learning. Working within given deadlines requires development.

Satisfactory 2
You understand the principles of digitising HR processes, outline the opportunities and benefits of digitising HR processes. You can provide some perspectives on the opportunities for HR to use digitalisation to improve HR processes. You will understand the importance of following technology trends. You will be able to take responsibility for your own actions and share your learning with others. Your reporting is coherent but has minor gaps in language and reporting guidance. Working within given deadlines requires improvement.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

Good 3
You can apply the principles of digitisation of HR processes and describe the digitisation of HR processes and the benefits of digitisation. You will be able to provide perspectives on the opportunities for HR to use digitalisation to improve HR processes. You will understand the importance of following technology trends and data in HR processes. You can take responsibility for your own actions and share your learning with others. Your reporting is consistent, justified and in line with reporting guidelines, but with occasional errors. You are able to work within given deadlines.

Excellent 4
You are familiar with the principles of digitising HR processes, can plan the digitalisation of HR processes and analyse the benefits of digitalisation. You can produce new perspectives on the possibilities for HR to use digitalisation for HR process development, data management and analysis. You can follow technology trends and understand the importance of data in HR processes. You will be able to take responsibility for your own learning and design collaborative learning in a group. Your reporting is consistent, analytical, fluent and follows reporting guidelines. You can work responsibly within given deadlines.

Excellent 5
You will master the principles of digitising HR processes, be able to plan the digitalisation of HR processes using appropriate technologies and taking into account the needs of the organisation, and critically analyse the benefits of digitisation. You will be able to generate new, critical perspectives on HR's ability to use digitalisation for HR process development, data management and analysis. You will be able to follow technology trends and understand the importance of data in HR processes. You will be able to take responsibility for your own actions and take others into account and critically evaluate what you have learned. Your reporting is consistent, persuasive, critical and follows reporting guidelines. You can work responsibly within given deadlines.
