Objective

The student can:
-understand the structure, function and regulation of the human organ system.
-understand basic clinical nursing interventions and helping methods in nursing in accordance with the infection prevention principles
-utilize evidence-based material and other supporting sciences in professional decision-making
-use assistive technology in promoting the well being of the customer/patient
-transfer patient in ergonomic way
-demonstrate the principles of ergonomics at work
-master principles of first-aid skills

-vital signs; guidelines for measuring vital signs
-skin integrity and wound care
-pressure ulcers
-caring in nursing practice
-immobility and mobility
-urinary and bowel elimination
-fluid, electrolyte and acid-base balance
-basic aseptic principles in nursing practice
-assistive technology
-ergonomics
-the principles of first-aid skills
