Summer school intensive week 6.-10-6.2022

Tavoitteet

The student recognizes the possibilities to work with modern families in her/his field of expertise. She/He understands the diversity of modern families and is capable for multiprofessional collaboration.
The student deepens his/her theoretical thinking on supporting families and parenthood. The student recognizes the importance of empowerment of families and knows how to strengthen and support parenthood.
She/He reflects on the research evidence critically and openly to introduce family centered methods in to her/his field of expertise.

For intensive study week participants: intensive study week with learning assignments (total 81 hours).
For DDP students and Finnish degree program students: Intensive study week with post learning assignments (total 135 hours).

Arviointikriteeri, hyväksytty/hylätty

The general assessment criteria for the skills and knowledge required for a master’s degree can be found from our website (https://studyguide.jamk.fi/en/Study-Guide-Masters-Degrees/). The learning outcomes of the course are assessed in relation to learning objectives based on knowledge, skills and general competencies (National and European Qualifications Framework, level 7).
Pass
The student masters the key concepts related to modern families. She/he recognizes the effects and potentialities of working with modern families in his or her field of expertise and is capable of reflecting them based on evidence in a variety of ways. The student possesses the capabilities for deploying family centered working methods and is able to critically assess their deployment in the social services and health care sector.
Fail
The student does not master the key concepts related to modern families. The student is incapable of considering the potentialities of family centered work in his or her field of expertise. The student does not possess the capabilities/willingness to deploy family centered work methods and is therefore unable to critically assess their deployment in the social services and health care sector.

Esitietovaatimukset

The student has the basic knowledge of family-orientation and working with families.
