Evaluation methods and criteria

The course includes a short test in each module.
At the end of the course, there is a final test with questions on the content of each module.

Objective

Students will learn to apply evidence-based practices, protect digital health information using cybersecurity protocols and enhance their communication and collaboration skills. Additionally, students will understand the importance of sustainable practices in healthcare and be able to integrate environmental protection principles into healthcare practice.

The course consists of four modules. The learning objectives of the different modules are:
• Evidence-Based Practice: How to integrate EBP into clinical decision-making to improve patient outcomes.
• Cybersecurity: Skills to navigate and safeguard digital health platforms, preventing data breaches and cyber-attacks.
• Communication and Collaboration: Enhanced abilities to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams, reducing errors and improving patient care.
•Sustainability in Healthcare: Knowledge of sustainable practices and how to implement them to reduce the environmental impact of healthcare.

Content

This course is designed to address the current needs and future trends in healthcare competence. It covers key areas such as evidence-based practice, digital safety, cybersecurity in healthcare, effective communication and collaboration and environmental sustainability in health.

The course consists of four modules:
Module 1. The process of the Evidence-based Practice
Module 2. Cyber Threats and Healthcare
Module 3. Soft skills and healthcare
Module 4. Sustainable practices in healthcare

Location and time

The course is delivered online and can be completed according to your own schedule.
The modules of the course are separate, so you can study them according to your own interests and choices.
