The theme of the construction traineeship is the work community. You will learn how to understand a company as a working community, how to work as a member of it, how to network and how to make contacts in the working world. You will learn about the different stages of the job search process and how to use work experience in career and study plans. You know the tools, working methods, equipment and software used in the construction sector and are familiar with key safety requirements. Understand the relevance of theory to practical work. You have good oral and written reporting skills.

Completing a traineeship involves a period of work in the workplace and reporting back to the school on the tasks and learning objectives. The duration of the traineeship must be at least 10 calendar weeks in the case of full-time work five days a week. The traineeship is broadly open to all types of work in the construction sector and there are no specific requirements for the workplace.
