Tavoitteet

You become familiar with the user interface design for programmable logic controllers in theory and in practice. You are able to implement a human machine interface utilizing operating panel or supervisory control and data acquisition system. Basic knowledge of the automation technology and programmable logic controllers is prerequisite for participation.

EUR-ACE ENGINEERING PRACTICE
You master the common practices of the user interface design and are able to implement human machine interfaces for industrial automation systems. You know the most common connection methods between user interfaces and programmable logic controllers and are able to diagnose and solve typical problems.

EUR-ACE COMMUNICATION AND TEAM-WORKING
You are able to communicate efficiently about ideas, problems and solutions as a member of an international engineering team. You are able to co-operate with experts from other fields of technology to achieve a mutual objective.

Oppimateriaali esitellään kurssin aikana.

Opetusmenetelmät

Luennot ja harjoitustehtävät. Kurssilla tehdään harjoitustehtäviä liittyen operointipaneelien ohjelmointiin sekä SCADA-ympäristön ohjelmointiin. Operointipaneeleihin liittyvät ohjelmistot ovat käytettävissä etäyhteydellä, mutta SCADA-harjoitus tehdään kontaktikerroilla luokassa. Myös osa operointipaneelitehtävistä tulee lopuksi testata ja esitellä automaatiolaboratoriossa oikeilla laitteilla.

Kyseessä on monimuoto-opiskelijoille tarkoitettu toteutus ja opetuskieli on suomi, mutta opetusmateriaalit voivat olla myös englanninkielisiä.

Toteutuksen valinnaiset suoritustavat

Hyväksilukemisen menettelytavat kuvataan tutkintosäännössä ja opinto-oppaassa. Opintojakson opettaja antaa lisätietoa mahdollisista opntojakson erityiskäytänteistä.

Opiskelijan ajankäyttö ja kuormitus

135 h sisältäen luennot, ohjatut harjoitukset sekä itsenäisen työskentelyn.
