Objective

The students have a comprehensive picture of tourism services and their distribution channels. They understand how an individual travel service is brought to the consumer. They know the concepts of the field: provider of travel services, travel agency as trip supplier, and tour operator activities. The students have formed an idea of the characteristics of business in the field, such as formation of income, pricing, and the product design process. They also know the principles of business travel in companies, as well as those of travel management. They are able to analyse the electronic commerce of travel services and are familiar with the prospects of the sector.

The students have a basic knowledge of the tourism sector

Active participation in contact classes is emphasized in addition to the exam and assignments
