Objective
The students understand the psychology and principles of individual and group behaviour and internalize the significance of people management as a competitive factor and wellbeing factor in an expert community. They have a clearly organized view into competence management and are able to create a competence strategy for their organization, aiming at continuous development of personnel resources and core competence. They have internalized the basic concepts and models of strategic thinking and management and can apply them to develop their organization and its competitive edge in a changing operating environment. They understand the potential of national and global networking and its significance for the development of the organization, and recognize its and their own social responsibility in the management of sustainable development. They are able to assess and develop their own competence and that of their employees in the daily activities of the work community.
Content
Measuring existing competence, its utilization and development (competence analyses, profiles, silent knowledge, challenges of ageing). Change management. Competence management and strategic management. Strategic thinking, the strategy process, creating a competence strategy. Recognition and elimination of obstacles to innovation and creativity. Competence management in international projects and their risk management.
Qualifications
Mastery of the basics of business management and the principles of work-life psychology
Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)
Assessment criteria:
1) active participation in contact study;
2) teamwork skills and oral and written presentation skills
3) quality of written output included in independent study. Pass requires 44% of maximum score, excellent 90% of maximum score.
