Objective

The students:
Know the basics of rehabilitation case management and planning.
Are familiar with the position, competence requirements, tasks, responsibility, and duties of their profession, in order to be able to work in compliance with their professional ethics and competence.
Know the theoretical basis of the operational models used in counseling and teaching in their profession.
Can plan and implement counseling, teaching and negotiation situations.
Know the main forms of group work and group dynamics and are able to utilize this knowledge in client work and with colleagues
Can plan and organize group situations
Understand the potential of creative activity in rehabilitative group activities.
Can work collaboratively and evaluate their own activities

Content

The history of rehabilitation counselling and education. Learning theories and their development. Counselling tools and approaches, e.g. case management, rehabilitation counselling, service counselling. Professional ethics The empowerment and client-centered approach. Dialogue. Interactive support. Group dynamics. Using action-based methods in groups; group planning, guidance and observation. Consulting and negotiation skills.

Students assess their rehabilitation counselling work and counselling methods critically and in an enhancement-led manner, and create new operating methods of working with customers. They are capable of constructive cooperation.
Very good 4: Students apply the counselling methods in a goal-oriented, rehabilitee-oriented manner and in accordance with ethical counselling principles in individual and group counselling situations and written assignments. They justify their solutions by making use of the source material and experiential knowledge. Students assess rehabilitation counselling work and their counselling methods critically and in an enhancement-led manner, and try out new operating methods of working with customers. They are capable of constructive cooperation.
Good 3:
