Evaluation methods and criteria
There are six sections to be completed. Each section includes a small-scale examination testing the themes learned in that section. Passing these examinations is required in order to achieve a passing grade for the course (assessment: pass/fail). Be attentive, as the examinations may contain so-called trick questions. The basis of assessment is that five examinations equal 100%.

Objective
Upon completing the course, the student: Recognises and can use the fundamental concepts of film (shot, scene, shot sizes). Understands the significance of shot sizes and camera angles in storytelling. Masters the principles of continuity and editing. Can apply camera placement and the 180° rule in the implementation of a scene. Recognises framing structures (closed vs. open framing) and their effects.

Teaching methods
An online course on the Moodle platform to be completed independently at one's own pace. The course includes: lecture teaching (video recordings), workshops (online), independent work and exercises, as well as several examinations (online).
