Evaluation methods and criteria

All tasks must be completed satisfactorily. The online discussion will be assessed as accepted/to be supplemented/rejected. The assignment and the multiple-choice exam will be graded on a scale of 0–5. The overall grade will be calculated as the average of the numerically assessed components, on a scale of 1–5.

Objective

The purpose of the study module is to strengthen the student’s competence in identifying and applying best practices of career management in organisations. Additionally, the aim is to deepen expertise in competence development at different stages of the career as well as in the methods of tacit knowledge management. Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to evaluate age management practices in an organisation and identify needs for their development.

Location and time

There are no scheduled lectures; the entire course will be completed as online studies.

Materials

All materials and literature for the course unit are available in Moodle, which will open at the start of the implementation.

Teaching methods

A course implemented entirely online, according to one's own schedule. Studies may be commenced and concluded at a time that suits the individual. There are alternative submission deadlines for assignments. Please note, however, that submissions will be processed and registered during the first week of each month. The implementation comprises independent work and various materials that support learning (videos, literature, online discussions, multiple-choice exams). All assignments are individual tasks. The implementation proceeds according to a planned schedule, but it can also be completed entirely at one’s own pace.

Exam schedules

Exams available in Moodle may be completed at your own pace. Each exam can be retaken three times, and a score of 60% correct answers is required to pass. The exam may be retaken only after a 24-hour interval following the previous attempt.
