Purpose of the Course Module

The "Path to Marketing" course module deepens your understanding of marketing and marketing communication's significance in evolving business. You'll learn to devise practical marketing strategies and campaigns, enhancing your marketing expertise in both production tasks and management.

Skills Acquired in the Course Module

Learning to Learn: Analyzing the current state of marketing and developing activities, setting goals, methods, and metrics for successful marketing, and building your learning growth path.

Working in the Workplace: Creating marketing solutions for assignments, making customer-centric decisions for your team or clients, and strengthening professional contacts.

Ethics: Recognizing ethics in marketing and its management, building ethical marketing practices, and enhancing theoretical understanding of the theme.

Sustainable Development: Grasping the basics of sustainable marketing, incorporating sustainability themes in branding, and developing your sustainability expertise.

Learning Objectives of the Course Module

You'll develop a comprehensive understanding of marketing strategy, processes, campaign planning, execution, management, and evaluation. You'll be prepared to design and implement digital marketing in projects and a team business, produce content for various marketing channels, and understand influencer marketing. You'll recognize the importance of sustainable marketing in business growth, share your expertise within the team, and reflect on your marketing skills through writing and dialogue. You'll take responsibility for your own learning and actions.

Execution methods

The course module's contact sessions are conducted in intensive periods that differ from the usual daily activities of a team entrepreneur, often held outside Jyväskylä. These intensive sessions may include longer workdays but are balanced with opportunities for informal discussions, sauna, socializing, and enjoyable meals. Participants are selected based on applications, with selection considering the diversity of the group, aiming to include representatives from different cooperatives and academic years.
