Objective

The student is able to apply the advanced knowledge in anatomy, physiology and phatophysiology to care need assessement. He/she is able to make a stuructured anamnesis in the case of main vital functions.

The student is able to make evidence-based decisions and conclusion of the client's or patient's health and seriousness of disease based on his/her clinical decision-making to patients' anamnesis, clinical examination and relevant laboratory tests.

He/she masters the key methods of care need assessment.

The student masters the documentation of client's or patient's anamnesis, description of findings on clinical examination, diagnosis and further treatment.

Knowledge: The student has a knowledge of anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology in his/her area of expertise. He/she is familiar with key methods of assessing the patient’s need for treatment in his/her area of expertise.

Skills: He/she is able to recognize, assess and make conclusions on the patient’s state of health within the limits of his/her area of expertise and job description. He/she recognizes needs for consultation by a multiprofessional team.

Competence: In self-assessment, expresses his/her capacity for lifelong learning and continuous development of his/her vocational skills in the theme area of the course. Demonstrates the communication and linguistic skills required in working life for documenting the patient’s state of health and reporting on it to the team.

Knowledge: The student has a good knowledge of anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology in his/her field of expertise. He/she is familiar with key methods of assessing the patient’s need for treatment in his/her area of expertise. Skills: He/she is able to recognize, assess and make conclusions on the state of health of patients in different age groups within the limits of his/her area of expertise and job description. Draws on consultations with a multiprofessional team.

Competence: In self-assessment, expresses his/her capacity for lifelong learning and continuous development of his/her vocational skills in the theme area of the course. Demonstrates the good communication and linguistic skills required in working life for documenting the patient’s state of health and reporting on it to the team.

Skills: He/she is able to recognize, assess and make conclusions on the state of health of patients in different age groups within the limits of his/her area of expertise and job description, also in unexpected situations. Draws on consultations with a multiprofessional team.

Competence: In self-assessment, expresses his/her capacity for lifelong learning and continuous development of his/her vocational skills in the theme area of the course. Demonstrates excellent communication and linguistic skills required in working life for documenting the patient’s state of health and reporting on it to the team.

Qualifications

Competencies in care needs assessment and clinical examination achieved in Bachelor's level nursing education.
