After completing this course, you will be able to implement safe patient-centered nursing care for perioperative patients at different stages of the care path.

You plan, implement and evaluate evidence based culturally sensitive perioperative nursing care following principles of health promotion.
You implement patient-centered counseling for perioperative patients and families following the principles of empowerment and rehabilitative working approach
You identify the most common adverse events and incidents risking patient safety and know how to intervene when necessary
You interpret vital signs and test results under supervision
You can use most common medical devices safely under supervision
You are able to work as a part of multi-professional team
