Tavoitteet

The students understand the significance of creativity in their personal and professional growth and well being. They know how to use the innovative and empowering possibilities of creative methods in self-expression, problem solving, multi professional health promotion, education, rehabilitation, and community work.

Sisältö

Theories of creativity, creative problem solving and innovation in general and in nursing, rehabilitation and social services with different clients.
Methods of photography, creative movement and dance in health care, rehabilitation and social services.

Toteutuksen valinnaiset suoritustavat

The team project or assignments and individual work, final work or presentation and written assignments.

Opiskelijan ajankäyttö ja kuormitus

Full-time studies: Lectures 20 h, Excises and team work 80 h, Final work/presentation 35 h. Total 135 hours.

Arviointikriteerit, tyydyttävä (1)

Pass (S) The students understand the meaning of creativity in human development, well-being, as well as in client and community work. They are creative and innovative in their written, oral, visual and bodily expression, problem solving and presentation skills. They are able to assess their own actions and work.

Esitietovaatimukset

The students know the general and ethical basis of health- and social services.
