Objective

You will develop language learning strategies and lifelong as well as outside of the classroom learning skills. In addition, you will develop skills to participate in communication situations in daily life and in the workplace. You will write short texts, e.g. a job application. You will develop your reading strategies and understand simple texts.

1 You participate in simple and routine situations related to working life and everyday encounters. You are able to use compensation strategies to become understood. You form sentences about familiar subjects according to the situation. You write short, simple basic text for working life with the help of a dictionary. You find media text about topics that are interesting for you, and you understand the main points. A familiar accent, repetition and rewording are required to understand spoken language.

2 You participate in simple and routine situations related to working life and everyday encounters. You communicate in a simple manner about familiar subjects. You are able to write short, basic texts about working life with the help of a dictionary. You find media text about topics that are interesting for you, and you understand the main points. A familiar accent, repetition and rewording are required to understand spoken language.

3 You manage in routine situations for working life and everyday encounters. You communicate about familiar subjects. You are able to write almost flawless basic texts for working life with the help of a dictionary. You find media text about topics that are interesting for you, and you understand the main points. You understand speech that has been slowed down a bit, and you are able to ask if you do not understand.

4 You cope in everyday social encounters and in routine discussions. You are able to use the core vocabulary of daily working life situations. You communicate fluently about familiar subjects. You are able to write almost flawless basic text for working life. You can independently find and read media text. You basically understand normal-tempoed speech.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

You are able to write basic text about working life. You find and understand media text about topics interesting for you. You understand normal-tempoed speech.
