Objective

Purpose of the course
You will learn the advanced use of spreadsheets and be able to apply your skills both in your studies and in working life in the bioeconomy.

Competences of the course
Technological competence: be able to use different bioeconomy data sources and ensure data accuracy and security.

Entrepreneurial skills: be able to plan, implement, develop and manage a bioeconomy business.

Work Life Skills: Able to take advantage of the opportunities offered by technology and digitalisation in their own work.

Learning objective of the course: By the end of the course, you will be able to manage and process the data required for working in the bioeconomy or for entrepreneurial activities, regardless of the size of data.
You will be able to apply the functionalities studied in the course to create Excel applications that support both your studies and your work.

Content

The versatile application of Microsoft Excel and the joint use of applications (spreadsheet, word processing).
-String processing
-Processing large data sets
-Logical, array and search functions in spreadsheets
-Joint use of Microsoft Applications
-Creating form objects and macros
-Basic functions of pivot tables and charts

Qualifications

ICT skills course or other basic ICT competences with basic Excel skills.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

To achieve an acceptable pass, you must demonstrate that you have mastered the advanced use of spreadsheets. This competence is demonstrated by the tasks described in the course learning space.
