Objective

After completion of this course the student understands how hard it is to know anything with certainty. The student is able to identify a question or problem in the field of probability and statistics, collect relevant data, analyse it and form a conclusion based on the analysis.

- Population, random sampling, scale - Statistics - Probability - Independence and conditional probability - Discrete random distributions - Continuous random distributions - Correlation and regression - Statistical testing

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

To get credits, Student have to do at least 80% of course.
