Objective

The student is familiar with the organizations providing counselling in rural areas, the activities of these organizations, the operating environments of counselling and their characteristics. The student is able to operate interactively in a counselling session and select situation-specific counselling methods. The student is able to look for information for different counseling situations. The student is able to prepare a variety of counseling situations suitable materials.

Qualifications

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

0 (fail) The learning requirement for the course is not met.
1 (adequate) The student knows the outlines of guidance organizations and their operations. The student is aware of the adviser’s role in guidance situations.
2 (satisfactory) Along with aforementioned, the student knows the functional environment of the rural area with its special characteristics. The student knows how to search reliable information to use in guidance situations.
3 (good) Along with aforementioned, the student knows how to interact in a guidance situation and is able to choose the right methods according to each situation.
4 (very good) Along with aforementioned, the student knows how to apply the information she/he has found in different guidance situations and circumstances.
5 (excellent) Along with aforementioned, the student is able to produce reliable material for and present the material in guidance situations, teaching and publications.
