Objective
The student
-knows the central methods of health promotion, public health work and health care work in different phases of life
-knows socio-political factors related to the planning and implementation of health promotion and health care work
-familiarizes him/herself with constructing, health prerequisites creating and empowering health promotion and health care work.
-is able to work independently and responsibly in health promotion and health care work in multi-professional networks.
-deepens his/her knowledge in individual and group counselling.
-has the basic competency for project, research and development work in the fields of health promotion and health care
-is able to utilize information and health technology as well as research data in his/her work.
- is able to critically evaluate health promotion activities and monitor their profitability and influence.

Qualifications
The student masters the basics of nursing and has theoretical and clinical competency in Health Promotion and Nursing in Public Health Problems, Family and Community Nursing and Nursing in Different Health Care Settings.

The student masters the knowledge base of health promotion and public health nursing methods and is able to examine it in a versatile and creative manner from various perspectives, taking also into account the social political aspects. The student has excellent skills in health promotion, which he/she is able to draw on in a versatile manner in various situations. He/she very enthusiastically embraces resource-centred health promotion work that enhances health and creates prerequisites for it.He/she is able to act in an entrepreneurial and ethical manner while planning and organising health promotion activities. He/she works interactively and constructively and develops his/her area of expertise.

He/she is able to act in an entrepreneurial manner while planning and organising health promotion activities but shows to understand the ethical factors related to health promotion.The student shows shortcomings in his/her interaction and expertise.
