Objective
The student can identify the changes related to healthy aging, as well as common health and functional problems that are threats to older adults wellbeing and functional capacity. S/he understands the health of the elderly. utilize valid and reliable age-specific assessment tools and evidence-based interventions to assess and promote successful aging and functional ability of older adults.

They understand the health of the elderly and utilize valid and reliable age-specific assessment tools and evidence-based interventions to assess and promote successful aging and functional ability of older adults. They recognize the responsibility of nursing care and the role of multi-professional co-operation, in gerontological nursing.
