Objective
The student:
Explores multidisciplinary working in social and health care operating environments
Counsels clients in everyday activities and in different operating environments
Recognises the factors affecting the client's well-being, health and functional capacity and knows how to support the client's functional capacity as a member of the work community.
Acts ethically and takes occupational safety into account in different work environments
Is able to reflect on their actions in different contexts.
Content
Orientation in the ethical principles of client work and safe work methods.
Practising client encountering, interaction and counselling.
Counselling in the client's everyday life and activities and supporting them.
Learning about the multidisciplinary operating environments and service systems in social services and health care.
Sharing, reflecting on and documenting one's own skills.
Completion alternatives
Practical training in the operating environments of social and health care services’ clients so that the student meets the objectives of the course. Passed practical training and training report, participation in the practical training information event as well as the intermediate and workshop.

The student
- Is familiar with the working life rules and acts accordingly.
- Counsels clients in everyday activities.
- Acts ethically in different situations and takes occupational safety into account.
- Is familiar with those areas of the social and health service system that are essential to the practical training location.
- Is able to name the laws and regulations steering the operations.
- Recognises the factors tha affect the clients' health and well-being and knows how to support the functional capacity of the client.
- Is familiar with multidisciplinary specialist work in the social and health care field.
