Objective

The students can look for the solutions (machines, furniture, systems…) of animal husbandry suitable for a farm’s operations.

Content

The buildings for cattle husbandry, pig husbandry, horse husbandry; functional systems, machines, furniture. Through the topic choice of the assignment, the students can focus the contents according to their career plan and personal study plan.

Teaching methods

Study at the course is based on the principles of project learning. There will be preparatory material before each contact lessons and during contact lessons students can find new technological approaches to livestock production. During contact lessons students will advance their own project with learning assignments and the results of learning assignments will be discussed.

Contact lessons can be attended in BTI or remote via Zoom. This course requires a commitment to attend contact lessons and also possibility to study independently.

Exam schedules

There will be no exam in the course. The course will be assessed on the basis of approved learning assignments and assignments.

Student knows several various types of livestock production technological solutions.
Student, can make comparisons between the technological solutions of domestic animal husbandry, including those previously unknown, and use these comparisons to develop domestic animal production.

Student can take into account the effects of the simplification of the taught models and theories on the development of domestic animal production technology.
Student can also look for unusual technological overall solutions, which integrate different systems, improve operations and save costs
