Objective

You get basic knowledge of the sections of electrical power technology. You know the basic components of the electricity distribution network and understand the issues related to electricity quality, electricity supply and demand elasticity. You will recognize the terms of lighting technology and be able to participate in lighting modeling and energy efficiency calculations for lighting. You can interpret and read various electrical diagrams and other documentation with different electrical symbols.

Studying in this course requires basic knowledge of electrical engineering.

You will have knowledge and understanding of the various sections of electrical power technology.

EUR-ACE ENGINEERING PRACTICE
You can use mathematical methods, laboratory measurements and engineering software to demonstrate and solve problems in the field of electrical power technology.

Teaching methods

Problem-based learning is used as a learning method. Learning takes place through independently fulfilled and returned learning tasks. The completion of the learning tasks is guided by the video instructions and during the contact lessons. This study unit includes also laboratory works.
