Content scheduling
This course offers you a chance to study professional communication skills in multidisciplinary virtual teams. The course is for Master's degree students, and it is implemented fully online during 6.9.2023 - 30.11.2023. During the course, you can develop your online communication skills in Finnish and in English. The course work consists of team activities and independent assignments. Main themes and objectives of the course: - developing your professional communication skills - how to market yourself as a professional - collaborating in virtual teams - assertive and effective communication online - writing an on-line article in virtual teams. Chosen articles are published online in TUAS TALK Magazine: https://talk.turkuamk.fi/ - reflecting your own learning More detailed instructions and requirements can be found in the course environment. The course starts on 6.9.2023 with an introductory assignment in Itslearning online learning environment. Kick-off Zoom meeting on 13.9.2023 at 14:00 -15:30. Mid-course guidance meeting in Zoom on 2.10.2023 at 14:00 -15:00. Article feedback meeting on 8.11.2023 during klo 8.30 - 12.00 according to a team specific timetable which will be informed at the start of the course. The meeting invitation will be sent to the course participants after the enrolment period.

Teaching methods
Team work, process writing, online learning and utilising digital tools, marketing one's own expertise in English, searching for relevant information, writing online text in Finnish and in English.
