Objective
Upon completion of this course a student will be able to
• employ theoretical and conceptual knowledge of cultural understanding and intelligence in international business (KU1)
• apply the gained theoretical and conceptual cultural knowledge in different aspects of international business: negotiations, management, sales and marketing (PS1)
Content
The course offers an analysis of theoretical intercultural knowledge and concepts and their practical implications in international business. The students will develop their understanding, how to apply the cross-cultural theories and models in various intercultural tasks,case studies and practical assignments concerning negotiations, sales, marketing and management.

Practical Skills: The student has obvious difficulties in applying the proven theoretical and conceptual knowledge in different international business challenges.

Knowledge and Understanding: The student is able to give some evidence on his/her theoretical and conceptual knowledge of intercultural issues. Central concepts have been defined but vaguely. The student displays only superficial knowledge of the subject area.
Practical Skills: The student has some difficulties in applying the proven theoretical and conceptual knowledge in different international business challenges.
