Objective

You will diversify your own knowledge of music by participating in various music events, such as concerts or other live music events, guest lectures, doctoral dissertations, master classes, seminars or training days as part of the audience attending the event.

You understand the music events in Central Finland and learn to utilize the diverse concert and event offerings in the region, including the opportunities offered by the Finnish Music Campus. You recognize and are able to choose events that diversify and enrich your own knowledge.

You are able to evaluate your experiences of music events and the concert and event scene in the region in relation to your own musical background.

You attend concerts or other music-related events of different genres or actors that will enhance your knowledge. At the same time, you get to know the range of music events in the Central Finland region.

You will also develop your reflective skills as a music pedagogue or music enthusiast, taking into account the impact of your musical background on your experience of events in the sector and your understanding of what the region has to offer.

Reporting instructions for the course can be found in the course's own Moodle workspace. The instructions are in Finnish but the written assignment of the course can also be completed in English.
