Objective
Purpose of the course
After completing the course, you will know the legislation and practical measures of animal welfare. You know the accounting obligations of animal production and preventive measures in health care, as well as you know the key animal diseases and their control. You know the sustainability indicators, development targets and environmental impacts of animal production. You are able to use technology to assess the conditions and welfare of animals.

After completing the course, you will know the legislation on animal welfare and the grounds for assessing welfare. You know the national accounting obligations. You are able to act in accordance with the principles of sustainable development and responsibly in animal production. You know the principles of health care and disease prevention. You know how to use technology to support your assessment.

Teaching methods
