Objective

Students identify growth-enhancing options and possibilities of their own business. Students are able to weigh growth perspectives analytically based on research knowledge and diverse sources. The student knows funding opportunities for generating growth. He understands the key variables as part of strategic business growth, and will be able to take advantage of this business growth and from development point of view. The student recognizes the ecosystem and different actors in his field of business. He is able to utilize networks in development of business and his own skills. The student understands the special features of running the business.

5 (Excellent) The student will understand and be able to apply the concepts of growth and finance, as well as the specific features of growth and finance by using the theoretical literature and his own practical examples. The student knows the players in the ecosystem, and is able to select essential services as part of his business field. Students are able to build a network and take advantage of it. The student is capable of showing special innovativeness in his choices and proceedings.
4 (Very good) The student will understand and be able to apply the concepts of growth and finance, as well as the specific features of growth and finance by using the theoretical literature and his own practical examples. The student knows the players in the ecosystem, and is able to select essential services as part of his business field. Students are able to build a network and take advantage of it. The student can also critically utilize the analyzed data and justify the selected development activities with the theoretical framework of growth and finance.
3 (Good) The student will understand and be able to apply the concepts of growth and finance, as well as the specific features of growth and finance by using the theoretical literature and his own practical examples. The student knows the players in the ecosystem, and is able to select essential services as part of his business field. Students are able to build a network and take advantage of it.
2 (Satisfactory) The student understands concepts of business growth and financial concepts and the specific characteristics of both theory and practice. The student knows the players in the ecosystem, and is able to choose the essential services to increase growth and maintain continuity. The construction and exploitation of network is incomplete.
1 (Adequate) Students recognize concepts of business growth and finance. Determination of diverse concepts and application is incomplete. Students identify the key players and existing companies, but the positioning of his own business market remains incomplete.
0 (Failed) The student is unable to perform the level 1.

Qualifications

Students are familiar with entrepreneurship and business-related concepts. They understand how customerships and business can be analyzed from the perspective of growth. Students know how the company's branch has developed, and what kind of business models can be used in the domestic and international markets.

Further information

The course is one part of the Masters' entrepreneurship path studies. The student should have the business idea or a company to be developed further. Accreditation of Studies – Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)is possible. Please, contact the lecturer.
