Objective

The aim of the course is to teach the student to combine information previously learned in the degree program, which can be used to solve realistic cyber security related puzzles.

EUR-ACE Applying technology to practice
You can analyze the puzzles in CTF challenges and solve them using different methods applying practice and theory.

Content

The puzzles completed in the course are Capture The Flag challenges where the student has to find the "flag". The ticket is a unique string that the student can use to prove that they have solved the puzzle. The student completes the course by solving puzzles independently and writing reports on them. The course is evaluated based on the reports.

The student knows how to use and select suitable tools needed for the CTF challenge in an advanced manner and is able to use new tools independently.
