Objective

You have a comprehensive understanding of the design and implementation of an IoT device. You are able to design and implement the control of the IoT device sensing and actuators. You understand the requirements for signal filtering in processor environment.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Sufficient: The student knows the basics of IoT connectivity interfaces and is able to show their competence with an assignment and an exam.

Satisfactory: The student understands the basic electronics required for IoT connectivity interfaces and is able to design a simple transistor switch

Assessment criteria, good (3)

Good 3: The student is able to design and scale the electronics required in IoT connectivity interfaces. The previously mentioned also needs to be mastered.

Very good 4: In addition to the previously mentioned, the student is able to design, analyze and scale an analog sensor signal to an AD converter.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

Excellent: The student is able to design the basic electronics for a complete feedback of an IoT device and further develop it.
