Objective

Purpose of the Course Module

In the "Effective Leadership" course module, you will learn to lead yourself with greater strength. You will receive tools to lead high performance while maintaining well-being. You will also learn to lead yourself and others in project work effectively and sustainably. Throughout the course, you will gain concrete tools for successful self and project management.

Skills Acquired in the Course Module

Learning to Learn: You will learn to analyze the current state of self-leadership from a sustainable performance perspective. You will learn to set goals, methods, and metrics for effective leadership. You will track your progress and learn from successes or failures.
Learning in the Workplace: You will learn the tools for successful project planning and execution. You will be equipped to act as a project manager.
Ethics: You will act ethically in customer projects as a project worker and leader.
Sustainable Development: You will be able to use knowledge related to your field to find, implement, and establish sustainable solutions and operational models.
Learning Objectives of the Course Module

You will learn to identify strengths and areas for improvement related to achieving effective action from a sustainable performance perspective. You will learn to start, implement, and conclude a project in practice. You will be prepared to lead and act as a project manager, learning the principles of change management. You will be able to share your expertise within the team. You will learn to reflect on your leadership skills through writing and dialogue with the team. You will be able to take responsibility for your own learning and actions.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

You have sufficient evidence of understanding the theory related to the competency area and are able to apply the theory in practice in the projects and operations of the team enterprise. You understand the significance of different roles in the development of the company and develop the team enterprise in cooperation with others. You are able to create clear plans and set realistic goals from both an operational and skill development perspective. You have set concrete goals for the development of your competency area and have demonstrated the ability to direct your actions according to these goals.

You have implemented projects that reflect the application of competency area theory into practice. The projects demonstrate your ability to apply what you have learned and bring theoretical knowledge into practical action as part of a team. Additionally, you are able to evaluate the achievement of your goals and your learning process through reflections, identifying both your strengths and areas for improvement.
