Objective
You participate in a cyber exercise in your own role set by the instructors. The goal is to gain practical experience of an attack campaign that targets the company's ICT infrastructure: from the role of an attacker, a defender or the exercise organizer. After completing the course, the student can apply the learned skills in a real environment against various cyber security attacks.

Content
After completing this course, you will have gained practical experience of an attack campaign against a company's ICT infrastructure. You will participate in a cyber exercise as an attacker, defender or exercise organiser, and learn how to apply your skills in a real-world environment against a variety of cyber security attacks. The course will develop your ability to work in a team and understand the importance of communication in maintaining situational awareness during cyber security incidents. This will equip you to work effectively and creatively in expert cybersecurity roles.
A practical cyber exercise where you will learn how to apply your knowledge and skills in a real-life environment against a variety of attacks, including.
Learn how to observe and analyse different real-time events, threats and attacks
Learn how to deal with and recover from cyber security incidents
Understand the role of cybersecurity training in improving the cybersecurity of an enterprise
Gain experience in organising a cybersecurity exercise and being involved in the planning, execution and analysis phases of the exercise
Understand the importance of situational awareness during various cybersecurity incidents and attacks
Learn how to use different defensive tactics to defend against and/or contain attacks
Understand the impact of different threats and risks on critical services

Assessment criteria, approved/failed
Passed: The student shows good activity and cooperation with other students and is able to participate in the exercise. The student knows how to handle, detect and understand various cyber security threats that companies face. The student reflects on his own learning very well. The student must participate in the contact days of the course and keep a learning diary about the course.
Failed: The student does not participate in the cyber exercise in the role defined for him, nor in the related group work or personal exercise.
