Objective
Advanced sustainable manufacturing combines the principles of productivity and sustainability by using new technologies, materials and processes. In practice, sustainable manufacturing models guide development actions that reduce environmental impacts and improve resource efficiency. Smart manufacturing systems and artificial intelligence can optimize production processes and minimize human errors.
Advanced sustainable manufacturing means increasing energy efficiency, saving raw materials, low-emission production methods and promoting recycling and reuse.
