Objective

You will learn about industrial process electrification and design practices and procurement planning. This course requires previously acquired knowledge of electrical power engineering design. Upon completion of this course, you will be prepared to work as a designer in industrial electrification projects.

APPLICATION OF EUR-ACE TECHNOLOGY IN PRACTICE
You will know the basics of the different phases of an industrial electrification project, including the design of the main diagrams used in these projects. In addition to the general electricity distribution network, you will have knowledge of industrial electricity networks and their specificities. You will be able to design and dimension cables and cable routes in the electricity distribution network and select the appropriate components and instrumentation for use. In addition to process electrics, you will be able to design the electrics of grounding, auxiliary heating, backup power and auxiliary power systems, among others. You will also know the basics of electrical installations in hazardous areas and reactive power compensation and its impact on power quality.
