Learning environment (Moodle) materials

Teaching methods

The author has to solve different kinds of problems related to production of the CAD documents. You constantly have to make decisions about the details of the work. Therefore, problem-based learning is used as a learning method. Learning takes place through independently fulfilled and returned learning tasks. The completion of the learning tasks is guided by the video instructions and during the contact lessons.

Practical training and working life connections

Working life collaboration is aim to do in the form of webinars with software vendors.

Exam dates and retake possibilities

Total study work 81 hours.

Alternative completion methods

The course includes exercises related to the production and understanding of electrical engineering documentation in addition to CAD basics.

Student workload

Self-assessments are mainly done through the learning tasks. The assessment decision is based on the learning tasks and the skills demonstrated in the exam.

Further information for students

In accordance with the guidelines of Institute of Information Technology, this course has an 80% attendance requirement. Attendance is tracked using the Moodle attendance tool. Absences will be agreed with the teacher for justified reasons (e.g. in case of illness or otherwise demonstrated competence).

All course assignments must be completed in order to receive a pass.
