Objective

Purpose of the course
During this final professional practice you will receive skills of developing work of physiotherapist and your own skills as a physiotherapist.

Learning Outcomes
You are able to assess and develop, based on evidence, the promotion of the client’s functional capacity in a variety of operating environments.
You can assess the functionality of the client’s environment in relation to resources and functional goals.
You can assess and monitor the success of the physiotherapy.
You can apply the methods of therapeutic training in guidance activities and utilise evidence-based guidance to support the client in reaching the mutually agreed upon goals.
You are able to utilise technology, virtual environments and robotics in the assessment of the client’s mobility and functional capacity, in rehabilitation and guidance and counselling, and in physical therapy.
You assume responsibility for your own competence development and that of your community as well as the sharing of the lessons learned. You are able to acquire, produce, apply, assess and share research information and professional skills in your field. You are able to develop working methods together with your community.
You anticipate the future of your field and the changes in your operating environment.

Your practical training is passed when you are capable of independent and goal-oriented work and can operate reliably in cooperation with different expert networks. You are able to utilise technology and different environments diversely in promoting the client’s functional capacity. You are able to assess your activities and the effectiveness of the physiotherapy.

Harjoittelu IV sisältyy moniammatillinen case-päivä, jonka kuormitus on 15 t sekä työelämässä suoritettava harjoittelu, jonka tuntimäärä on 255 t.

Harjoittelu suoritetaan opetussuunnitelman tai henkilökohtaisen opiskelusuunnitelman mukaan.

Teaching methods

Opintojakso toteutetaan aidossa työelämän yhteisössä käytännön harjoitteluna. Lisäksi harjoitteluun sisältyy raportti ja kehittämistehtävä. Oppimispäiväkirjan kirjoittamisesta sovitaan erikseen.

Student workload

Harjoittelu on 10 op eli 270 tuntia, joka sisältää harjoittelun lisäksi raportin ja kehittämistehtävän kirjoittamisen. Harjoittelu lV jaksoon sisältyy 0,5 op moniammatillinen case-päivä, jonka toteutukseen on erillinen ohje.
