The purpose of the course

You are able to name and describe rehabilitation services with their actors and you know the social security related to rehabilitation. You can name digital and technological services and operating environments. You identify the funding channels for rehabilitation and the economic basis for rehabilitation.

You can describe the stages of rehabilitation processes for different client groups and the principles of documentation related to those stages. You can draw up a rehabilitee-based and appropriate rehabilitation plan. When drawing up a rehabilitation plan, you will be able to take into account multi-professional cooperation and apply the relevant legislation and operating practices. You can describe and justify the expert role of the rehabilitation instructor in rehabilitation processes and in drawing up rehabilitation plans.

Functioning rehabilitation, vocational rehabilitation, social rehabilitation, educational rehabilitation. Public social and health care system, health insurance system, employment pension system, statutory accident system, traffic insurance, occupational health care, services of economic affairs and employment, criminal sanction system. Social security related to rehabilitation.

Individual rehabilitation processes and rehabilitation pathways for rehabilitees of different ages and in need of different rehabilitation. Digital and technological rehabilitation services. Basis of designing an effective rehabilitation process. Structure, content, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the rehabilitation plan. Teaching methods

Opetusmenetelmänä käytetään käänteisen oppimisen menetelmää eli kontaktikerroille on ennakkotehtävä. Opetusmenetelminä on myös alustusluennot, dialogi keskustelut ja työpajatyöskentely. Lisäksi itsenäinen oppimateriaaliin ja kirjallisuuteen perehtyminen, oppimistehtävät ja tentit.

Opintojakso ajoittuu koko kevätlukukauden ajalle. Tenttien ajankohdat ilmoitetaan Moodle oppimisympäristössä ja tutkintosäännön mukaisesti tenteissä on kaksi uusintamahdollisuutta.
